Reviewing Fashion Label Mirador

Mirador is a fashion label created by Lauren Elise Cassar, a graphic designer/artist/textile designer. It’s fresh and beautiful with stunning graphic designs that will delight every textile artist and fashionista.

Cassar, originally from Tasmania, studied graphic design at RMIT in Melbourne and then started working at fashion label Kuwaii, then after working at The Australian Ballet she started Mirador, a combination of textile design and fashion that include kimonos, wraps and ‘organic’ sweaters.

My favourite designs from Mirador’s ‘Eating Well’ collection

The Rosa Wrap is one of the many designs from Mirador that exhibit Cassar’s beautiful textile designs. It only costs $150.00 AUD

The wheat+seed kimono (with rounded edge Furi, Japanese drop sleeve) is just a stunning masterpiece so unique that it’s handpainted! It is available for $430.000 AUD

Have you ever heard of an organic sweater? Well now you have because the Rosa organic sweater features a crew neckline and his made of 100% organic cotton (am I the only person that has never heard of this). The rosa organic sweater can be bought for $180.00 AUD.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Mirador is a truly exceptional label, it’s made of wearable pieces of art! (Cassor is a genius). Mirador designs can be ordered from the Mirador’s website, available here.
